Hi everyone, I’m Jennifer and found this in the basement of an old house. I’m not a collector so I’m wondering if this is a common item you all see a lot of, or even know how old it might be? Thanks for the help.

How about posting a picture of the back and the bottom? I have never seen anything like it and am wondering if it might have been a parts washer. Is there a motor and pump in it?

These were kerosene dispensers. They’re not that uncommon but for some reason not that sought after. Usually they still have legible graphics like this one does. I guess because they were probably used inside for dispensing kerosene for lamp oil and the like. Not sure on the age but probably 20’s or earlier. I almost bought one a few years ago but couldn’t haul it that day. Always thought they were cool….GB
