Hello all,
I haven't purchased many signs in the past 5 years due to prices and the amount of fakes and repros out there. I have the opportunity to buy a large collection and I briefly went and looked at these signs today. They are all extremely heavy and have the thick raised porcelain features I know to be correct. But after going home and thinking about them, I just have natural skepticism based on what I've seen in the repo market lately. It's not that I don't trust the seller, I don't trust anyone!! Haha. Please let me know what you think of these based on the pix I took today. I forgot to measure, but I believe most are 42-48".
Thank you.

It's hard to tell in the pic but the Dino is at least 42". I see lots of 30" fakes. What makes it obvious? I just don't have the experience to tell.
Thanks

It's a fantasy sign, never made back in the day, which is obvious to those who have taken a few years to learn about a company's history and the signage they used, etc......A LOT has changed in the hobby, especially in the last 5 years.

Sinclairs are both fake and the Texaco green is off. I’d stay away from the others based solely on that.

once you discover one in the bunch that makes all of them suspect,

shell mounting holes are incorrect .. ... cool

I'm a total novice and should stay out of it, but the chip patterns around the edges of the signs seem too consistent. - Jack J.

Thanks everyone. Change that 80% sure to zero.
I called a local guy that has lots of contacts for vintage signs and he told me all about the seller. His name is Mark Bondeson from Sun City AZ. His user name on eBay is suncityestates2. No job, just makes a living buying and selling whatever he can. He is basically buying from India and doing his own fake ageing on top of that. He does have some legit stuff, but it seems his bread and butter is this scam. This guy has some balls. He's gonna fraud the wrong guy one day.

How can suncityestates2 have 4 negative feedbacks, and 1 neutral yet still shows 100% happy?
