My father and I are doing a custom MS80 gas pump for a client. He wanted an ad glass top but none were available so we are converting a tall MS80 top into the glass version. I had to make two plates per side, one to give depth for the glass the other to hold the gasket for the lens. The plates were made on a plasma CNC machine.

Some welding and cutting required but coming out pretty nice so far. Will show some pictures when all done. I made the lenses fit just slightly looser than the original ones do, always thought installing the original lenses was a pain in the butt!

I may make some more plates sometime, I want to modify the design based on what we learned from this go around. The curve inside the top I didn't compensate enough for on this design so we had to do some grinding.

Might sell a kit if there is interest out there.
