The guy that bought it sold it on Barrett Jackson Auction for--wait for it !! $270,000!!

There were several resto-mod Broncos at Barrett-jackson this year that went for crazy money. They were in response to crazy money from earlier Barrett-Jackson years. I dont get that kind of money for those, but I totally get the attraction to doing up those Broncos. Not much to them.

Thus why FORD is Bringing back the Bronco design & name. There seems to be a resurgence in this off road vehicle type, although 99.9% of the new FORD Bronco owners, will never take them off the highway.

Broncos and K5's are one of the hottest areas of car collecting right now. I was at Mecum in Kissimmee and I thought that was the craziest auction ever. Then I went to Barrett-Jackson the following week and Barrett-Jackson was definitely the strongest auction in history for cars and memorabilia. Anyone see the sign results...absolutely crazy!!
