I melted out the Bakelite on my Bennett 956. Along with the warning about breathing the fumes, be aware it can be very messy. I found that when I applied the torch, the black goo went from solid to very runny quickly. I was very glad I had a large piece of cardboard on the floor or my barn slab would have been a mess. But all in all, I was pleased with how quickly and easily the conduit came relatively clean. - Jack J.

Thanks Jack. Very good to know. I'll have to make sure I have things well covered when i get to doing it. Last thing I want is a mess in the garage.
