I had some tops made for the 36 and 36ADC after talking to the guy who used to make them. I had the top made in cast iron. The globe holder is spun aluminum.
The bottom sheet metal is made as close as I could. I have not finished the inside clamps that hold the pieces together. Here's what I have so far.
