Hello all,

I'm in the process of restoring a G&B model 80-18 pump and need to find a door and upper panel (around the window) for the opposite side.

Thanks in advance!
Andrew

A good sheet metal shop can make the the lower door. The side you are missing was originally screwed on and not hinged like the side you have. Not sure why they did it that way. I owned four of these and they were all that way.

We actually have a full machine shop where I work, but it is my last resort. I'd like to go original if possible, but that panel wouldn't be bad at all to make if necessary! That's good to know that the back wasn't a door, I never would have guessed that it would be any different! That actually makes it easier to fabricate as well.

Thank you Matt, that is super useful! Do you know what size globe this would have had on top?

The globe would have been what the company used. They had 7 inch holders spot welded on so a 6 or 7 inch globe could be used on them. They had long screws so they would reach the collar of a 6 inch base globe. The non-globe model had a dome that covered the globe holder.
