The 4th of July I remember most,67 years ago today the U.S.S. Cowell DD 547 Destroyer that my brother and I were on was in Singapore heading for the Suez Canal then to Norfolk Va.after 6 months in Korea .The local news paper came on our ship and took pictures of the 8 sets of brothers that were aboard.Arriving in Norfolk we completed a cruise around the world that started in Jan.of 1953.Happy 4th. to all!
