Wondering if you can tell the brand of pump by the color of the sight glass spinner? Just got an MS 80 and finally got the sight glasses off - the spinners are red and yellow - was thinking maybe Shell?

I think your spinners are red and a brownish white? Usually from years of gas or diesel. Bead blasting will clean these up and a few coats of clear from a rattle can will keep them looking new. As far as I know, There were only red/white and blue/yellow spinners? The last being for Sunoco. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Thanks Paul - here is a pic of one of the spinners - I think you’re right about it being red and white - the white looks more yellow under the fluorescent lights...
