It was impossible to find a Joy Manufacturing Co. visigauge, so I decided to reproduce one. A generous pump collector had a sand cast top dome that I purchased, the aluminum base plate was made at a machine shop, and the other parts I purchased from a hobby store, plumbing supply houses on ebay, metal supermarket and repurposed them. I have never seen a visigauge as wide as this one, but I am sure there are others. The diameter of the top plate and base plate about 6-1/4". Also never seen a brass center spinner like this one.

I have some new 5/16" rod stock and may make all new rods. I had some old rods laying around and decided to use them for now. The hex nut started out 1-13/16" thick and I cut it down to 3/4". It is 2-3/4" diameter, a big nut!

Nice work! Wondering if the rods could be polished? Or new brass rods polished would fit in with the whole theme.

Polished brass rods would look good and easy to thread. Thanks for the idea.

The top would polish nicely along with the aluminum base.

This would be a cool visiguage to reproduce...I would be interested if one was ever to be reproduced.

This pump is on craig`s list in Sacramento, Ca. It looks like a Joy visi on it. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/atq/d/rio-linda-curb-side-gas-pump-wayne/6938644807.html

Matt, you are correct, it is a Joy visigauge. Seller won't sell visigauge separately unless someone pays $450 cash in hand. He will not accept any other form of payment.
