Does anybody know the history of Cresyl gasoline?

The only info I have is from Wayne Henderson & Scott Benjamin's Guide to Gasoline Logos book. That book shows Cresyl to be affiliated with the Site Oil Company from Missouri. Not much of a lead, but all I have. Good luck with your research!
