they used galvanized metal and the paint jumped off years later.the next generation sign was made of fiberglass and aged much better.

Thank you Sir, I seen a handful of the fiberglass ones,but only
1 metal one over the years. Felt it was from the late 20's or early 30's.

1940s-50s. Ive seen pictures of them new on farms with 50s tractors.

Luke, perhaps it was images of the fiberglass version of the Seaside sign, that you saw with tractors from the 1950s?...

The metal on wood versions, I believe were used from the mid '30s to after WWII.....
