I have a fry 117 and the door has a slot in the middle. Most of the ones I see have a notch out of the left side of the door for the regulation valve. Any info from you pros on this?

It may have been a running change made from the oval slot to the square cut out. My Fry 17 has the oval slot in the middle of the access door. My Fry 77 has the square cut out on the left side. In my opinion, the square cut out is more convenient to "park" the gallon selector handle than line it up with the oval slot and close the panel. The selector handle has to be just the right height and horizontal position to go through the slot.

Thanks joe for the info. Just trying to track down the exact date of the pump and thought that might be a clue.

Somewhere around 1925 would be earliest production of 117s. Not sure when the 117s ceased production. Without production records, there is really no way to pin down the manufacture date of these pumps.
