A co worker gave this sign to me, said he found it under a pile of bricks, sign is 12" and is porcelain.

Someone forgot that they put it under the pile of bricks to "age it", before they sold it on eBay!

11 1/2" - 12" rounds white backed and black sandpaper backed are almost 99.9999% repops. Andy Rooney (black sandy backed) or modern mfgs found all over the US in shops/shows/flea mkts.

They can be found for $10 flea -$35 retail. Auto, Oil, Soda, Condiment related.

Original rounds are inches larger/smaller and typically thinner if you put them side by side with these repops.

Typically the Buick Valve in Head is a 42" size though there are variations as well, but none down in the range of the sign in question. This would hold true for auto brands that I'm aware of in round shapes and porcelain.

Gas & Oil related can be in the 3"-10" as vintage pieces (though there are a few repops I've seen in this range as well, just not as prevalent as the 12"). Then vintage rounds pop up to what I'll call the 15" class used on lubesters and such and then they start getting into the lollipop sizes in rounds.
