Good morning gang!

The snow is supposed to start any time now. I ran down to the cabin yesterday to finish cleaning up the yard, as they are supposed to get as much as 18-20 inches. That should make installing the holding tank fun.

I picked up my new plow on Friday and got it all hooked up this weekend, looks like I will be using it later today and tomorrow morning.

Have a good day everybody!

FREEDOM oil items wanted.

Keep that white crapp up there!!! I just winterized my camper yesterday. It's around 52 here and no snow which is nice!

Been working in my shop trying to get it done but man it is slow process!

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Morning all! Well, for once, the weather gods have smiled on this area and left us alone! Its currently snowing fairly hard, but all in southern North Dakota! The main thrust is along the North & South Dakota border and headed eastward. By the time it hits Minneapolis, they will receive 10 to 12 inches of the stuff and then it heads for Ryans shop in Duluth where it will dump "ALL" remaining snow! LOL Good luck Ryan!
Other than that, its a fairly nice day here, even though its a little on the cold side!
Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

8AM and just started snowing here, plow is ready to go for da big dump. This is the earliest I can remember this much snow, a foot plus,a snow storm this size coming. Gonna make for a long winter as it's supposed to get colder every day for over a week. My memories of visits to Portland Oregon are calling me for some strange reason. I really like that area. Don't really care for high temps but do like moderate temps. A rotten day coming for the entire middle and upper Midwest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES!

10 November 1775,

my Marine Corps came alive,

first there came the color gold,

to show the world that we are bold,

then there came the color red,

to show the world the blood we shed,

then there came the color blue,

to show the world that we are true.

OOH RAH!!!

239 years old and I pray that the Marine Corps motto "Semper Fidelis" still stands strong. "Always Faithful" is what it stands for. Faithful to God, country and Marine Corps is what I was taught and in that order.

We have 43 and fog setting in. Perfect day for living. Should have some clearing later on. Better see what Michelle has planned.
May our lives glorify God,
Michael

Happy Birthday to all the Marines out there.

Lots of ***** weather coming this way, just cold temps though. Makes me realize that this winter we will be without DBs daily comments of the forecast in Cali... he always had to rub it in.

Spent yesterday redoing our shower floor... it was a learning experience, but I think it came out fairly well. Before & After below:

Almost 70 degrees here right now, Sunny with winds from the south. But the bottom drops out tomorrow with highs in the 30s most of the next week.

I went out and got the pump ready in my lake this morning. The pump churns the water on freezing days to keep the cove from freezing over so the ducks can have open water.

Have a great Monday in Oldgasland!

Kevin... I'm sure I'll find out. Hopefully its not too slippery, not a big fan of the no-slip mats... thats what caused the wear & tear in the 'Before' picture

Good evening everyone! Snowing lightly here right now and very cold, I think with the wind chill it is 7 degrees out. Burr! Been real busy with school, now that we are winding down to the end of the semester they are all piling on the workload! Anyways, take care everyone.

Well as a Canuck down south I would normally revel in my snow bird status, however all good things come to an end as we are scheduled to head up north on Thursday. I could do my best DB and it would be a poor imitation at that but it sure was sweet in shorts and sandals today. Sigh and its about to end and there will a lot of the white stuff in my yard. Have a good one.
