...the Double Cola thermometer is a reproduction as well - more specifically, it's a fantasy piece...they're all over eBay...

Ok. Thank you Gulfriend. Sorry I did not know this was also a repop. Sorry for making a mistake. I get a damn PM from a moderator saying it looks bad on me. Hell there's so much repop items out there today and porcelain signs getting restored and tin signs getting repainted. Who knows what's real and NOS and whats a reproduction. It doesnt make me look bad, as a young man in this hobby, it makes the hobby look bad! Sorry Oldgas, did not mean to mislead anyone.

Pretty evident from the pictures that thermometer is a reproduction. The piece of wood holding the tube in place shows no age. Wood is biodegradable, it ages over time.
Most people research items before listing them for sale. If the seller isn't responsible for what they are selling..then who is?

ima just bight my tounge and not say anything at all to that comment. People make mistakes Dave. I apologized for my mistake. If anyone its the people making the damn repops ruining the hobby is the one to blame. So hard to tell these days. People on here barely share there knowledge to me. But like I told the moderator, im about done with this site. People can use there own time and gas money to find items instead of people like me bringing them back to the market. AGAIN sorry for the mistake.
