Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife at the time Maria Shriver at the 1984 Mr Olympics - along with all the contestants from that year. Also Ben and Joe Weider and their wife's (founders of the IFBB and publishers of Muscle and Fitness magazine).
Ted Nugent numerous times (one of my friends was his drummer way-back-when).
Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad. His wife is a sister to my youngest bother's wife.

working at the carrier dome I have met a ton of college basketball and football coaches/announcers and future NBA/NFL stars.
The most famous and best person I have met in my life was Jerry Garcia from the grateful dead in a bar after a concert in 1989. Was a fantastic evening...

I have met/hung out with Arnold Palmer a few times. I have also hung out with NHRA pro stock driver Jason Line.
Arnold is about the most genuine person I have ever met.

I met and had a conversation with Joe Frazier when I lived in Philly. A very nice, cordial gentleman. Although retired he still appeared well able to kick some butt! RIP "Smokin' Joe"! Almost forgot.....Steve Carlton. I met and talked with him a bit in Tampa. My golf pro cousin had a prenuptual golf tournament and he has in the group ahead of mine. A phenomenal athlete who could pound a golfball 9 miles! (Steve Carlton.....NOT me.) Dave

I went to school with Reba McIntire. Know her parents, brother, etc. Also went to school and played baseball with Brett Butler who went on to a long career in the majors.
And at one time most of the (then) Dallas Cowboys, including Tom Landry.
Don Carter who owned the Dallas Mavericks before Cuban.
Over the years, members of lots of rock bands from the 60 & 70s.

I've been a fan of 1950's and 60's rock and roll since I found my Mom's pile of records when I was about 10 years old, in the mid-80's. I really thought Lesley Gore was a sexy chick and I played her records a lot. I was able to meet her at an oldies concert in the late 90's. She signed a photo and my LP of "It's My Party" and we chatted a bit, she was a super nice lady. She recently passed away but I will always be glad I met one of my favorites from that era. Meeting some of my Motown idols from the 60's would be tops on my list at this point.....maybe someday. I've always heard if you really like a certain celebrity you probably shouldn't meet them as it will probably change your opinion of them! Darin

I beat Lance Armstrong in a race... is that when he started juicing? Yeah -- I think he problably was on something. I was 10 years older than him and we weren't on bikes. (Boston Marathon). All in all, I'd rather party with Diana Ross.
