Went to an auction with 600 signs the other day. There were about a hundred or more live bidders and it was on Proxibid as well. I left after two hours and I bought one sign. I had had enough of the craziness. There were many fake signs mixed in and it was clear many of the bidders could not tell the difference. My advice go to the shows and buy retail, it's cheaper. {ten hours of driving in bad conditions, a night in a hotel ,gas , food for one sign}

https://www.proxibid.com/asp/Catalog.asp?aid=90463

Check out the results. Here are some pictures for dissection.

I was hoping for the Bear sign but not at 6 grand plus. At least it could be split into two signs.

What an absolute joke those signs sold for. Disgusting, uneducated buyers.

Here are some of the crazier things that went for big money.

There were not 200 Texaco's there.

The Skychief plates went crazy like everything else.

The sale was in WV. They have another at the end of the month. I am not going.

Here is the only thing I bought and I thought it was reasonable at 200 bucks plus 20. But not for what I went threw to go to the sale. The mountains of WV are too dangerous in the snow.

After hours of driving in dangerous then good conditions. I had to calm my nerves so I stopped before going to the next auction on the way home.

Ice on my hubcap, neat design !!
