So I recently picked up this sign, from a gentleman who purchased it from a Ford dealership that had closed down. The man at the dealership said that this sign was in that Ford building for as long as he could remember.

It is single sided, no markings that I can see.
The sign measures 16 & 1/2 inches wide, by 11 inches tall.
It also has brass grommets.

I'm guessing it is a older reproduction, but I'd like to know for sure if possible.

I am going to say yes. The mounting holes are not in the right spot, blue is too light, single sided and no Property of Ford markings.

Lets here what everyone else has to say.

I think all these "faked old signs" are hit with the same ballpeen hammer. most of the dents look the same.

For single sided porcelain signs, for me the BACK of the sign often answers the real or repro question. Hopefully strnge can post a pic of the back of his original.

i used to own that sign it came from a dealership in western minn it is a repro they were using other repo signs for display
