Just bought my first pump, a Gilbarco.
Where do I find the model number?
I am having trouble uploading the picture.
Could not find on side but have added picture (I hope)

Looks like a 996 (page 166 of my pump book) with some stainless missing.

Also shown on this page of my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/gb%20992.htm

Do yourself a favor, and buy Jack's book. It is time and money well spent if you ever intend to buy another pump.

on some of those models, the i.d. tag doubles as the bezel around the reset handle.

Flatland & Gilbarco

Just to let you know, the 2nd Ed. of my book is out of print and out of stock. Every once in awhile one pops up on Ebay, but the asking price is usually between $100 & $150. And sometimes this is for a used one.

Working on a 3rd Ed., but it won't be out until at least the Summer.

The 1st Ed. & the 2nd Ed.'s are available on E-reader. Amazon, sells both, try and buy them through this website and OG gets a commission.

When looking at my book using a Nook or a tablet, one picture will come up at a time, the caption should be below the picture, if it above, that caption is for the previous picture.

There is one benefit of the E-book, the pictures are larger just in case you are looking for detail, plus the E-book cost about $20.00.
