Well, as it says, I'm back again, my computer crashed last fall and I never did anything with it until this week and I upgraded to a new one and just picked it up tonite, so I'm doing a little catching up.
I've been busy doing the body and painting of a good friends gaspump parts and air meter parts, he's doing the disassembly and assembly. He's a new collector and has the bug big time. I will post pics of the progress soon, so stay tuned.
Many of you may remember when my friends got me my '61 Biscayne last year, and then I got hit last spring, well I scored a very cool ride last fall, a 1961 Buick Lesabre 4 door sedan with 28,000 documented original miles in beautiful shape. I bought it from the grandson of the original owner.I have the original bill of sale, all sorts of documentation, and cool history of the car. It was basically stored since 1971. It's nice enough that I'm entering it in the Draggin's Rod and Custom Car Show here on Easter weekend, with my gaspump, air meter and other items for my display, so that's kinda what's new with me since the fall. I will get some pics of the car on here soon, so stay tuned.
That's about it in a nutshell, nice to be back again, have a nice evening everyone.
Ken.
