Got these two signs out of a very old storage building today - haven't ever seen either and am curious as to year on Kendall and rough value for both. The quaker state has it's original wood mounting frame as well as its original black wood frame - the kendall has its original wood mounting frame. the quaker state is marked 1930 on the back.

Dave, my guesstimate on the Kendall is around 1933-36... By '36, the Public was used to "Factory Sealed Cans", so advertising for such had been pretty much dropped...

Nice finds Dave.

Here in SC I can get $250-300 on the Quaker State without much worry. The Kendall will be a harder sell with the condition, but still it is a vertical so $200-250 maybe a bit more as an early version Kendall.

Those verticals always seem to be 40-100% more than their horizontal counterparts.

Not going to be for sale in this case - since i've never seen them for sale, i'd have a hard time parting with them. There is another worse condition kendall twin that i got with it that might go on the block tho..
