Does anyone have an old picture of a pump in the Mobil Premium brand from 1962-1966? I have looked on the internet with no luck. I have seen the Mobil Special ad glass but not a Mobil Premium. Thanks!

Most of the pumps we call 50s pumps were still being made in the 60's and almost all the pumps we would call 60's pumps were actually introduced in the late 50s.

Your question in too broad, you need to define it more. As I tell people who say "That is a nice Mobil pump" Mobil never made a gas pump, they made gasoline.

If you happen to have access to H&B gas pump restoration book look on page 167. That might be what you are looking for. Mitch

Thanks. What I was looking for was a Mobil station picture from 1962-66 that was using a Mobil Premium brand gasoline to see if there was an ad glass that says Mobil Premium on it to see the design. I would assume it would like the Mobilgas Special ad glass. I'll look for that book Mitch. Thanks.

Hers a picture of a Wayne with the ad glass you're lookin' for. Wrong pump plate but it should be the wide shield with the red "V" and the word Premium below in the same fat font as on the ad glass.
Picture is frm the net sometime...secont pic is of a correct plate.

I just noticed the globe body. Would look better with one color rather than the two different colors.
