It would go real good with my 55 Merc which is for sale, same price as the sign. Something wrong here.

I just worked in Burgettstown yesterday and will be there today. Small town, should be easy enough to find the storefront this thing sits behind just to look at it.

Looking for early valvoline, freedom-valvoline, franklin pa items, Galena

This is all true. But the sign does look good. I offered 10k cash and got shut down.

While we are on the high ball side of signs here I found out that there is another rare Cities Service sign exactly like Kevin bid on little while ago and it turned out fake, got his money back. Now there is another in the same area and coming up for auction. This is a 4ft sign and I don't know for sure it was ever made in that size. Lots made in 2ft size, bigger?????

Forgot to say the first sign sold for $6500, but I cannot personally confirm it.

Yeah there was a little dispute about the citi sign. I'd stay away from anything in that area unless there is a guarantee on it or you have seen it in person.
