Hopefully, the citizens of Fort Wayne will band together and prevent the building from being torn down. What a shame that would be. With it's pedigree that would be an awesome building to become a gas & oil museum.

The CITY is only interested in Revenue, not in saving a pump company building! Look at all the Historic buildings that have been removed for Shopping Centers/Parking Lots around your area.
Wal-Marts/Home Depots have put Hundreds of Thousands of small businesses out of business & are importing JUNK from Foreign Countries so they can sell at lower prices.

The sad reality is that the American consumer is actually the one to blame. The buying public demands price, selection, and convenience. Every facet of business has to deal with it eventually. I remember being squeezed out of my service station so corporate could put up more c stores.
