Yes, I'm a newb..... This sign was advertised a vintage porcelain. What say you? I know nothing about signs. My father in law is a collector trying to get me started collecting. I was buying this pump plate for his birthday. Trying to avoid the embarassment of giving him a fake. I wouldn't know of it is or isn't.... I can feel a difference where the color changes when I run my finger across it. Just a little bump on the line. Also it has what looks like paint smudges on the back. Thanks for looking and any advice!

Not 100% sure but if you remove 1ea [img] at the beginning and 1ea [/img] at the end, they might show up?

The difference in height of the color changes is called "shelving."
