I'm at the point again that I have to start taking down more stuff if I want to add more signs/globes to a display.Right now I've got a couple of pre-1910(Ihave been told)RR lamps and a large glass globe embossed with New York,New York on display.

Do they belong in a petro display?I also display one of those glass kerosene bottles that was used with a kerosene cook stove.I put them up to show how early keresene was used.What do you think?Take them down or leave them there.

Wendell, I've been doing some thinking on this... And I know personally I would love to see your lanterns alongside one of those Stop sign paddles the Crossing Guards used to carry and use...

Such as this one I found a photo of:



If you could also find a good photo of such a Railroad Crossing Guard that would really pop: Here is a photo of one such guard from the 40s, in North Baltimore, Ohio... He was a local hero in that, he saved a child from being hit by a train....
