Since I am new to this, I could really use some help on this recent warehouse find from the Texas panhandle. The only defect are light surface scratches from the ribs in the box. What is the globe worth? Does the original box add any value or just help with authentication? Thanks in advance!

The box adds value don't no how much depends on who wants it. The globe itself I would think 500 to 600 if it's mint condition.

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

Thanks K W. I had to go back to the top and check. Yes, it does say "new" not "naive"! But seriously, I was very excited to find this and now have to decide on a pump to finish in "66". I don't plan on selling, but have no idea what its worth! I just didn't know if the plastic holds its value like the glass.

This particular globe holds it value if both lens are there and if they are not cracked or broke. If either are don't even try to take it out as they won't come out.

Seriously--condition is, of course, everything. Considering that there are "NO" defects in the globe, it should be worth about $600 but I have seen them bring higher on ebay, but thats ebay where there is no rhyme or reason. I've actually seen one that brought a shade over $800 on ebay.
