I'm making a new t bolt out of brass for my fry 117 pump handle. To hold the handle to the pump mechanism
I'm pretty sure it's NOT a 3/8 course thread. It's possible it's 3/8 but think it actually has a odd ball thread count
So before I get a tap to do the threads. I would like to k kw for sure what it actually is. I stead of just Ren a bolt down it. It will. Be fine as some do
Thanks in advance

Well I grabbed a new 3/8 course. And a fine thread. And neither one will start at all
So now I'm thinking the old bolt (not orignal) that been sticking in it may be metric(yes I'm aware no threads on this pump are metric) and the top portion may just been wore out?
