I have a Gilbarco 996C pump I am working on. I have seen photos of these pumps and wondering what trim to use. I see some with a v trim around the site glass and others with a chrome strip or two, one above and one below the opening of the faceplate. Mine has one above the opening. Where does one find info about these pumps?

Check out my longstanding build thread as I have been slowly restoring a 996C that was part of my family since delivered in 1950.
I had similar concerns when I started out, but the V trim was not one that came on my pump or probably an option for the 996C. Around the site glass mi e actually had no trim if you can believe it. I believe that you can get no trim or the standard circle from my research.
There isn't a ton of info about the 996c unfortunately as most info is for the 996 which has slight differences!
Another piece of advice is invest in a copy of the service manual. I grabbed one off ebay and its been a massive help
