I’d like to get this clock working but the metal rear section (Can) is super rusty and needs to be replaced. Anyone have an original for sale? I don’t mind buying one with some rust, as long as it’s not structural rot. Thanks.

Yup go over to the neon clock site . Check with Charles Smith , and I believe Robert kranker . They will, possible have one or no who does . Both repair and manufacture parts for neon clocks and neon thermometers. . Good luck

Charles Smith has cans but they won't have the supports for the face like your clock can has. Easy to make and weld in place. I've used several of Smiths cans and they are top shelf quality.
