Hi
Take a look at these pics. The hose install has a steel part with the plastic receptacle for the hose to mount into. Issue is it has no threads?

Any idea on what is needed to mount/install the hose?

As you can tell the plastic part swivels but it cannot be removed.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm just thinking out loud....must be some kind of early break away device so that thing should unscrew to put on a regular hose.

My thoughts are to measure the inner diameter and find a male or female fitting that is just snug and JB weld it in place ? Or something similar.

I have a large drill bit and tap to get the frozen hose ends out of sight glasses so I don’t break the glass. That may work for you.

Mike, I've been doing this stuff for thirty years. In all that time, I have seen a lot of jerry rigged units. If this were in my shop, I would take a hack saw to the black plastic very close to the chromed hose outlet. Cutting it off will gain access to the interior of the metal housing. Take a hack saw blade and carefully cut through the inner plastic pipe on two sides. Once through, a screwdriver will allow each side to be pushed in and slid out....your 3/4" threads will be available for the hose. I find it difficult that people are so afraid to try things, that might solve the problem? The fun of this hobby is in the discovery and hands on doing. Just me talking, Paul www.severngaspumps.com
