Picked up this Bennett 956 the other day. It was a basket case and I've been having fun figuring out where all the parts go. Fortunately, I bought it from a very organized guy and it's almost all there. I have ended up with a few parts that don't seem to have a home. Any help on what they are and where they go would be much appreciated. - Jack J.

Well, it has happened. I can't say you guys didn't warn me when I bought my first pump a few months ago. What am I going to do when a friend calls me and says, "My neighbor has some gas pumps and I think he wants to sell."? We get together and he's got a nice, restored, Bennett 372, a Bennett 956 in pieces and a pair of Bennett 3115s. Before retiring, he serviced gas station equipment and just couldn't throw away pumps when stations closed. He sold me one of his Ellisco gas calibrating five gallon cans. So, I'm up to five pumps and still looking. There's no vaccine for the collecting bug. - Jack J.

p.s. I did passed on a couple of Bennetts that he said were commercial 3115s. Maybe I'll regret it later.
