I’m restoring a 1927 Tokhiem 620-B gas pump and it will be outside in the elements. I like the look of the white cloth wrapped gas hose but I’m wondering how it will stand up outside. Has anyone used one of these on a pump that’s outside? Appreciate the feed back.

They were all outside back in the day. It will age with time, as with anything. It will eventually turn gray or brownish. If your restoring your pump as a patina pump (unrestored look) I would want it to be dirty. You can buy ones that are already stained slightly brown, then you gotta rub them in some dirt, gas and grease. If your pump is restored nicely, just buy the bright white one and they will age gracefully together.
