I have a Flying A Gasoline porcelain sign that measures 10" by 10" and weighs 1 pound 3.1 oz. I purchased the sign at a Portland, Oregon gun show about 30 years ago and I want to be sure it's not a reproduction. I'm pretty sure it's not, but I don't know any distinguishing characteristics that would differentiate it from a reproduction. There are a few small scrapes or chips along the edge but no sign of rust. It's in nearly perfect condition, otherwise. Are the reproductions heavy like this one and are they porcelain? Pretty sure this is porcelain over metal. Thanks for any help

The quick tell tale difference from authentic and repros is that the the curved top letters aren't curved. The G S and O are flat top on the fakes.
This is the fake.

Thanks! I pretty much thought it was the original thing just by the way it looked and felt. Appreciate your analysis.
So were these used to hang on a wall or in a window or did they get screwed onto a pump?
