I have a National A38 dated 11/39 that was used on a farm. It has no computer and only one of the ad glasses is intact but it does have the rest of the guts and the nozzle. Somebody screwed on a metal frame and plywood door to block off the computer window on one side.
I have tried the other resources recommended here to determine it's value but there are very few examples in similar condition that also show the final price. Also, I don"t know how much the missing computer will affect the price.
Thanks for the site I have found it very interesting. Let me know if you would like any more photos. And thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.
Dan

Welcome to Oldgas. That pump missing the door will be your greatest challenge. I would suggest contacting Tom Buckles on the computer and make sure the brakes are there to mount the face plates. The other things missing are available at vic's 66 and gas pump heaven. Having one ad glass helps but I would not do more than $300 to $400. Your missing parts will add up quickly and might be even more then the cost of the pump. Good luck.

Welcome to Oldgas. That pump missing the door will be your greatest challenge. ...is it missing a door? Looks like the door is there - just some plywood/metal screwed over the opening on the door...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Both doors are there. Here is a picture of the cover over the computer window.

Parting it our would be the most value for sure, but then you would have to ship the parts. Someone looking for a parts pump easily would be able to drop $500-600. If you do not want to deal with it then as above stated price would entice someone. If you were closer I would be that person.

My bad, it does have both doors so I agree the value is more to what Craig posted.

I would not part that pump out. Complete it is a $1,500 to $2,000 pump and that has a nice ad glass!
Drive with Care and Buy Sinclair!! I buy Sinclair globes, signs, cans, ect.
