In all my years at this I have never seen this. I pulled this pump out to clean and seal it to protect the water slide decals but I never noticed that one side with the face plate and water slide decal it was hand painted to match the other side. All said and done someone did a pretty good job and obviously had a lot of free time on their hands.

The other weird thing is it has a cast base and I thought they were only used on four ad glass pumps, this Tok is a 39 NAP.

Has anyone else seen or have a pump that this was done on? Sure would like to see yours, thanks.

I have never seen a cast base on a short 39, but I that is just my experience . Yes , I agree. Some one sure did have a lot of time on their hands. The lettering on the face plate is very nicely done. And it looks like the whole thing is home made , The hole for the spinner the squares holes for the price and gallons are not perfectly true openings.

That is not a short, it is a tall with no ad glass. I have not seen one with a cast base either. I thought the cast base came only on the four ad glass model but have also seen an unrestored two ad glass with a cast base.
