Greetings all!
I'm new here, and sort of new to collecting. I say sort of because I worked at my father's Gulf station in my teenage years and have some memoribilia from my time there.
I'm primarily interested in collecting Gulf items from the 1970's and 1980's. I purchased my first Southwest GOC gas pump last week and am driving to pick it up soon. I hope to continue collecting and maybe start restoring some items.
I've already learned a lot from reading forum posts before I joined, so thank you!
Bryan

Bryan, Welcome to Oldgas. Good luck with your collecting!
Regards, Jim
I collect gas pump salt and pepper shakers and the plastic coin banks made by AVSCO.

Bryan, where are you located? I'm in Raleigh...I need to look around, but I'm sure I have a few items from your timeframe...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Hey Gulfiend! I'm in Haw River, about 25 miles East of Greensboro. My Dad's station was in Chapel Hill, and that's where I currently work.
Looking for 70's and 80's Gulf memorabilia!
