Being as such a small amount.. I would do full refund and call it lesson learned. I very rarely ship outside the US.

...full refund...I insure everything I ship...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Looks like most are in agreement with full refund which i did last week via Paypal.Probably the only time i have shipped out of the country. One thing that is odd-the buyer never acknowledged the refund frown
The important thing is the fact he was reimbursed and i did the right thing.

You did what you knew to be the right thing to do, if only everyone lived by that credo! Plus, your reputation is worth well more than the $50.00 it cost you. It boils down to the Golden Rule of treating others the way you would like to be treated, you can't go wrong living like that.

Regards, Jim

I collect gas pump salt and pepper shakers
and the plastic coin banks made by AVSCO.

Very good points made by all. It's all about customer service.

From reading all these responses the lesson to be learned here is....deal with Oldgassers! They all know how to treat people.

There are some "characters" on here also, just like Ebay. I found that out when I sold a pump on this site several years ago; they(two) are veteran Oldgassers also.
Just treat everyone like you would want to be treated and keep a list of those that make things difficult for the rest of us and don't deal with them in the future. There are some great people on this site. Dave
