Without having the advantage of personally holding it and examining it; looks good to me. Top one looks like it has been out in the elements while the known original appears to be nos and has retained it's day 1 gloss and colors.

I'd say fake the blue bit on the tusk is so small and short on the top one compared to real one

The white space between the ear and the trunk appears wider in the top sign than the bottom sign. The shape of the letter G in Gasoline appears to be slightly different as well.

I still think, it looks good. Difference, is in the photo's. One is taken straight on, in the other the sign is closer and at an angle. These differences have changed the scale of the images, one is larger then the other. Maybe, this image will help by putting the signs side by side.

The spacing between the elephants ear and trunk doesn't look the same to me. Possible because of the pictures angle, but I have doubt that the sign is an original.

What color is the back of the original? That would be an additional clue..possibly.


Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.
