Can anybody tell me why made this clock the neon don't work, but clock works and I would like to see if I can find what was on the face original. Thanks for any help.

If the electric wires are all hooked up inside and the glass is not cracked, the transformer is probably the reason why it doesn't light up.

Yes everything looks good on the wiring in the back. is there a good place to buy a transformer? Thank you

Look on facebook for Antique Neon Advertising Clocks. Lots of guys there sell parts. Get an electronic transformer.

You can test your transformer,but only if you have a basic knowledge of electricity. 3000 volts is no fun to get hit with(although it probably won't kill ya). Your clock is a glo dial,the clock face has been painted over.go to Neonclock.org and you can find many pictures of them,probably advertised a company,and many also advertised radio stations.
