FYI... I know for a fact that there are 100 repo's out there that are almost perfect. made back in late 80's by a farmer that had his original copied.... good luck

Out of iron ! Must have shipped them by railroad car. What are the differences ? Preston Evans had two in the courtyard in Warm Springs, GA. Dave

It's been a long time but I can remember seeing several of his farmer friends putting them together with old bolts and painting parts before setting out side to AGE. As I remember he told me that the foundry did a great job but couldn't cast a piece (I think) on the back side of front casting to fill a open spot.. Hope that helps. At his farm auction 2 were sold and nobody knew the difference - someone got the repo LOL

Yes there's lots of repops out there for sure, and I agree some of the repops are very good! I don't mind a good cast iron repop as long as price is for a repop if you know what I mean!!

The area behind the back claws is hollowed out, on the originals. Aumann Auctions sold one last Oct. for 40k.

Ok guys, I'm getting some guys saying that back area is hollow(has a hole) on original Case eagles and some are saying that if it has a hole then it's a fake.... Can I get the some positive input in this please all!!! I've seen some with and without this hole(hollow area) now, which is the Real Deal???
Please PM me photos if anyone can help!!!
Thx!!!!!!
