The drain back on my Wayne 615 came with a cotter key inserted to hinge drain back lid to the drain tube . What was used on the original pumps? I wondered if it was a clevis pen. I appreciate the help.

The ones that I have had through here used an iron rivet ball peened over to keep it from coming out. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Ron--My experience has been the same as Pauls. I'm sure they broke a bunch of them back in the day and had to change them out, and used whatever was handy when they got that pin punched out of there. I haven't ever seen one with a big cotter pin, but there were sure a variety of bolts used! LOL
