I do not think this has any ties to the Atlantic Oil of Philadelphia that everyone knows. Another company with the same name. Arco, in this case, is an acronym for Atlantic Refining, vs the 1960s+ Atlantic Richfield Arco.
Good oil cans don't wait for people, people wait for them.

Atlantic and Richfield did not merge until 1966. Prior to this Atlantic was known as the Atlantic Refining Co.
So, where does this can come in, it says Cleveland, Ohio. Another company or a branch of the Philadelphia based Atlantic Refining Company?

This is my ARCO can, I just wonder if it is the same time frame as yours. Their graphics are pretty cool.
Have gas all the time
