I've seen that term used on some globes, most notably a blue crown that catches my attention until I see "contemporary" in the header. Lots of shady sellers using word play anymore to try and sell their repros. It must make them feel better about ripping folks off because they didn't carefully read the descriptions. Darin

Barrett-Jackson uses "TRIBUTE" a lot for fake cars. At least "tribute" makes sense. "Contemporary" certainly seems chosen to confuse/deceive.

Definition of contemporary; belonging to or occurring in the present. Fail to see the confusion or the deception?
