Ok... I see this thread on other sites and it can be one of the best threads to follow. The deal is to post a random picture, no description or anything else, just something random. You can post as many times per day as you want, no rules really (except those of Oldgas). Have fun with it.

The large Felix Chevrolet neon sign was erected at Figueroa and Jefferson Boulevard when new dealership owner Nick Shammas relocated the Chevrolet franchise there in 1958.

I've been trying to go for decades, but have always been unable to go due to that JOB thing. This year I find myself unemployed, so on a Wed. night I decided to go-loaded up the Suburban and left Thurs. morning. It was an experience I cannot wait to redo with my son and perhaps friends. I highly recommend it. There's no B.S., just cars and car people. As I was leaving I began contemplating the whole thing and realized-there wasn't even a cop (real or rental) to be seen on the salt. To me that speaks volumes for the whole deal.
Here's a link to my FB page with several more pics if anyone is interested: https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=1555581683&sk=photos
And thanks for the compliment-glad you like the pics.

A cool custom bike.
I have a foreman that runs a crew with guys that seem to have a hard time remembering to bring their hard hats to work. So he made up one that they have to wear if they forget theirs.
Might start a trend with that hat
HA HA!
Great idea on the hard hat..
At one time this was a beautiful Farmers Union thermometer, until the tree started eating it!
Now that's a cool traffic light .

Wow where is gas $2.89 or when should I say. I guess they feel safe there its the Safeway!lol
That would be the current price at Estes Park here in Colorado,
Rod must have been up there for the Christmas parade that's a good time up there hope you had fun..
I'll be going up to Cheyenne for theirs tonight.
Bob.
Gonna be another beautiful day here on the front range...
Thanx for posting that one Bob! I really miss my mountains. (I grew up in Westminster)
Nice pic of the front range, Bob. Yes, we were up in Estes for the parade. Hiway 34 from Loveland just opened last week. Still lots of cleaning up to do in the Thompson canyon from the flood though.
Yes, the Elk know where they are safe. We saw probably 50 head within the city limits. Noticed the young elk was licking something on the cement by the gas pump. Sure hope it wasn't anti-freeze or E-10.
Love Estes but you really got to shop around for gas as there was 30 cents difference between the Shell station on the East side of town and the Shell on the west.
Hope you enjoyed the Cheyenne parade, Bob. Sure was nice weather for them this weekend! I hear it's back to winter come Thurs.
Rod
Here's a couple of pic's I took awhile back, The sunset's around here are amazing!
Rod glad to hear you had a good time up at Estes Park we really enjoy going up there, Cheyenne was good and no wind for once made for a nice parade.
Those Elk must've been going after the sidwalk salt, there are some amazing bull's up there we love to see them during the rut in sep/oct.

Foun these cool chairs
Looks like you could wrench your back trying to set in them
Those wrench chairs look about as comfortable as the chairs in my chiropractor's waiting room!
I have seen chairs just like that for sale near me. They are really different, the seller here said they are being made in Mexico.

The seller said this guy lives in top area of MI and it took him 4 months seller provided the wrenches and most likely a few cases of beer lol.
Sorry Folks. No Fuel until the January thaw.
You should be good to pump by the weekend junior. Suppose to warm up to plus 3 by Saturday from the -37 with windchill we just had.
I like then a whole lot better
Me too Jeff. It's been a rough one so far this winter.Power outage for 6 day's , freezing temps, snow up the yang yang ,but at least it gave me lot's of time to finish my pump.Getting very close.Never been this cold in my life. Can't wait for summer.
