I thought I'd show off a few photos of an old motocross bike I just finished up with. The project took me three years from start to finish. It's a Noguchi Special, and is based on the 1974 Yamaha YZ125. I worked very hard to find the right NOS bolts, washers, tires, cables, etc. etc. For better or worse it is my work, minus truing the wheels and vapor blasting the cylinder, head, and carburetor. It came out pretty good. Thanks for looking.
Before and after shots.

Great job, you should be proud. Now burn the wheels off that bike!

Very nice machine! I haven't ridden anything older than me, lol, but have always wanted to try out an older MX bike just to see what the suspension and handling are like compared to my current dirtbike. I've always wanted a nice 70's black and yellow YZ125 Yamaha to put in my living room, lol.

Darin you're not married are you? LOL
And if you are, she's very forgiving.

No, I'm not married or coupled, lol....otherwise I probably couldn't have a gas pump in the kitchen like I do now! smile

Darin they are not as forgiving, just not the travel the new ones have today.. I had a 73 - 250 Honda. Back then we rode powerlines and logging trails. there was one hill of slate stair case rock that was allways wet as you came back out on to the powerlines it always gave me trouble, the only way to ride that bike was wide open because of the powerband. I was so tired of trying to get up it one day if it had not been for me friends I would of left it and walked out.
