I have a chance to buy a fair amount of gas and car stuff from a guy I've known for a number of years.
He wants to sell all without splitting things up and sent me some pictures to look over.
The owner wants me to make an offer on everything and I've got a pretty good idea of the value of everything, but this globe and lenses.
He couldn't find any makers mark on the globe body, but did say that the lenses are 20 inches in diameter and flat.
You can tell it wasn't meant to go on a pump and it looks like it had neon around the outside of the body.

It came from a Ford Dealership in a small town in Eastern WA.
Is this something that Ford would have made or was it something that was done locally by the owner of the dealership?
I did a search of Ford advertising images and couldn't find anything like it.

If someone could give me a ball park figure of the possible value I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Pretty expensive piece. Scott Benjamin would be the one to ask on this.

It likely was on the dealership building Paul. I don't know whats expensive in Craigs value range but the holder maybe worth more than the faded lense. IMO value there is not over 1000.00 bucks.
