Can anyone tell me is this sign real? It says the seller is from India and that scares me because i have been hearing about really good fakes coming from india. I found only a few of these and they were mostly sold at high end auctions. But still.. even auction houses can be fooled..

There are collectors all over the world so I am not ruling it out just because its india..

One of these is on Worthpoint as sold in 2014. Another sold at Morphys in 2018. Thats all I can find.

Just the $3499.00 price tag should scare anyone away.

It’s fake. They can never get the serif “a” right; dead giveaway. And yes, you should rule out EVERY sign from India.

You should definitely rule it out because it’s India. I hate to be blunt, but that is a rookie mistake if you think there are collectors in India. India is reproducing this junk at an alarming rate.

Once you’ve been in this hobby for more than three years your going to look back on your original comment here and say, “wow, what was I thinking back then?”

By the way, everyone here who responded is a serious collector with great knowledge of the hobby and everyone who responded has been doing this for a very long time…….. take our advice.
