I have this motor oil can and it came from the former Bay State Petroleum Co., Inc. in Cambridge, MA. I cannot find anything on this can and barely anything on the company. Think the can is 1950's, maybe 60's with a SAE20 and 100% mineral base. Maybe used for special type of engine/cars? On the front it says "Bay
Motor Oil".
Can anyone help me with this company and the can? Any info would be appreciated!

Fairly rare can. You are correct, 50s-60s era. Nice shape, but no graphics. Mine is in similar condition, which i bought for $75. I feel $50-75 is about right.

I bought mine on eBay. I have seen a couple others on the internet since then.
